    OTHER SERVICES

Health and Nutrition


The only hospital in the municipality is a Government-owned Municipal Hospital. The other nearest government hospital are in the towns of Angono and Morong. Although most barangays have health centers, there are not enough government health personnel to attend to the needs of residents.

There are 50 private medical practitioners with their respective clinics that are mostly based in the mainland. There is a health facility in Barangay Gulod , Talim Island which served as a extension of the Municipal Hospital.


                    

Education and Human Resource Development


There are 40 elementary and six secondary schools, public and private, located in the different barangays in the municipality. Total enrollment in elementary schools rose from 22,492 in SY 1990-98. Teacher-Student and Room-Student ratios are comparatively better than in other municipality with 1:30 and 1:38, respectively
